Thanks for the heads-up! I like how the newer releases of wordpress have the news section in the admin panel reminding you to upgrade.

I found the automatic upgrade plugin earlier tonight and gave it a try. It was very quick and easy. I had been afraid to try upgrading before Fantastico got the upgrade, but I’m glad I did it with the plugin.

BTW, i found this wordpress plugins that lets you automatically upgrade your wordpress installation. It also creates backups for you:
