I was hoping with this subscription to see a lot more of the things mentioned in #1 than #2. There are too many bloggers doing #2. Most bloggers do some amount of metablogging but especially for those who have been around awhile, most of the metablogging topics have been covered ad nauseum. What about your readers here who are not bloggers? Why would they care about anything in #2? With a name like "newest on the net" that's what I was hoping to see. Blogging isn't the newest on the net, it's been around for years now. It requires more work finding and writing about the newest things on the net than simply recycling blogging about blogging topics. Will give it another week or two to see what is posted but so far this isn't for me, sorry. I hope you find the feedback useful, it's intended to be constructive criticism. I only speak for myself, but my favorite blogs are the ones that are unique and/or at least try to be unique and do in fact live up to the title of your blog covering the newest on the net (or at least new to me).
