Many thanks for linking to my post about that traffic explosion caused by StumbleUpon.
I’ll have to write another one soon, because the SU traffic keeps growing. Still, I don’t really expect it to last for much longer.
I totally agree with you: thanks to SU, even brand new blogs can get some visitors. Therefore the bloggers won’t feel alone anymore.
Karen,
I am glad that you are seeing some good traffic with stumbleupon. Every time I write an article now, I get at least 300 page views from StumbleUpon. My best day was 8,000.
Thanks for the link Fred!
Hi Fred, thanks again for the link.
I was a little disappointed with Tad’s incorrect and very poor paraphrasing of what I said, so there’s now a 3rd installment…
I get a lot of traffic from stumbleupon however none of that traffic views the ads on the site, so the traffic is not targeted at all! Not a big fan, but I use it anyway.
Speaking of black friday though, like you, it wasn’t spent slurging.
Wayne, I will read it first thing.
Douglas, I sometimes feel the same way about StumbleUpon. However, I think that StumbleUpon is the best social media site to bring consistent traffic to your site.
