Digg Adds Images
3 Dec, 2007 | Written by Fred | under social media
Digg users rejoice!! Kevin Rose today announced the starting tonight Digg will be adding image submissions and new categories.

Digg users have been demanding for a long time the ability to submit images and video.
Users will also find several new categories. The “Offbeat” category will become its own category and there will be a new “Lifestyle” category. The Lifestyle category will include subtopics like autos, food & drink, and travel.
It is about time that Digg adds photos. This is a great feature of StumbleUpon and Mixx.

It’s about time thats all I can say.
Digg has been overrun with [PICS], [IMAGES] and [FOTOS] for way too long. I’m sick of getting the front page spammed with images when I want to get a few articles.

I couldn’t agree more. Don’t understand really why wasn’t that done before both for images/videos and new categories.

It’s too late. Mixx already offers that and by far better.
