November 26th, 2007 — Forums, Internet Marketing, Most Popular Articles
Reading and participating in Internet marketing forums is a great way to learn how to make money online.
As you might have read in my previous article blogging forums, participating in forums is a great way to get started making money online.
Internet marketing forums are the best means to get questions answered and become known within the internet marketing community. I don’t suggest that you participate in all of these forums, but instead pick one or two and become a valuable member.
The real power of forums is to become well known within the forums’ community. You want to establish yourself as a valued member of the community and an authority blogger. However, with these forums you can also just lurk around and learn a lot about Internet marketing.
Here are my favorite Internet marketing forums:
1. The Warrior Forum:

The Warrior Forum is a very friendly forum for Internet marketing and learning how to make money online. Many of these forums are rough places. Not for the sensitive types. However, I have never experienced this on The Warrior Forum. The people here are very willing to help beginners learn how to make money online.
2. Digital Point Forums:

Digital Point Forums are very active Internet marketing forums. Digital Point is a hub for people making money (or hoping to make money) on the Internet. I encourage you to check out all of the forums at Digital Point. The amount of information on these forums is absolutely amazing. This might be the most active Internet marketing forum.
3. The V7 Web Development Community:

The V7 Web Development Community focuses on Internet marketing, web design and blogging. V7 is a well established community with lots of traffic.
4. WickedFire Forums:

WickedFire does not have as much traffic as the Internet marketing forums listed above, but I really like the community. But be aware, the community is tough, but fair.
5. Thirty Day Challenge Forums:

This forum is focused on Ed Dale’s Thirty Day Challenge. This is a great Internet marketing program for people who are new to Internet marketing. You can find out more about the Thirty Day Challenge by reading my 30 Day Challenge Action List.
6. IM4Newbies:

This is a great forum for people who are new to Internet marketing. This community is great for people who are absolutely new to this business. Newbies are always welcome.
7. NetBusinessTalk.com:

This forum goes a little beyond Internet marketing and making money online. Netbusinesstalk.com also provides forums for general business discussions.
8. High Rankings Search Engine Optimization Forum:

The High Rankings Search Engine Optimization Forum does not focus on Internet marketing, but it does cover a topic very important to Internet marketing, search engine optimization. This is an excellent forum for SEO advice.
9. The New Bloggers Message Board:

As you can tell by the title, this message board focuses on blogging. This is Garry Conn’s forum. While it is brand new, I know that it will be a great forum to make money blogging. Garry Conn is an Internet marketer that focuses on using blogs to make money online. In addition to checking out his forum, check out his great blog.
10. Clickbank Success Forum:

These forums are dedicated to achieving success with the affiliate program publisher Clickbank. If you want to make money online with affiliate programs this is a great forum.
If you know of other great Internet marketing forums, please tell us about them in the comments.
November 23rd, 2007 — Internet Marketing
I have been a big fan of Ed Dale’s Thirty Day Challenge Internet marketing program. This 2007 action list is a step-by-step guide to get started in Internet marketing and making money blogging. Here is the 2008 Thirty Day Challenge action list.
Previously I had this 30 Day Challenge Action List on MMO Explorer, but have recently decided to move it to Newest on the Net where it is more in line with topics covered.
If you have not heard of the 30 Day Challenge, I highly encourage you to take a look at the Thirty Day Challenge and consider joining yourselves. It is an unbelievable beginners’ Internet marketing program.
One thing that I have been having trouble with is turning Ed’s lessons into actions. Therefore I have been using Mike Mindel’s blog to help me keep on track. Despite Mike’s great notes, I still needed an action list to keep me on track. Here is my action list. I will keep updating it as I continue my journey. I would like to thank Ed and Mike for their unbelievable work.
In addition to Ed and Dan’s Thirty Day Challenge, they run another unbelievable Internet marketing course called The Immediate Edge. If you like what you are learning in the 30 Day Challenge, please check out The Immediate Edge. The Immediate Edge website has lots of great information explaining the course.
For those Thirty Day Challenge participants who have subscribed to MMO Explorer, please subscribe to Newest on the Net. I promise to keep following the 30 Day Challenge.

Step 21 - Day 21 The Big Picture
Today Ed gave an overview of what we are trying to do here. While this does not hit into the action list format, I think that it is important that I give a brief summary of the most important points of the big picture.
- Product is not that important at this stage.
- This is a testing phase.
- Main goal is to set up various website using umbrella phrases to drive around 200 visitors per day to our affiliate page. With 200 visitors to our affiliate product, you can expect a sale a day.
- Eventually we will substitue the affiliate product with one of our own.
- Once you know your conversion rate, then ppc advertising becomes a great way to make money.
- Create three more articles.

- Social poster your sites and your team members’ sites (if the content is good)
Step 22 - Day 22 Let’s Test; Let’s Track
- Track the number of visits to each of your websites by installing Google Analytics and/or Statcounter.
- Use the TDC Stats Tracker to track the number of people clicking your affiliate links on your websites.
- Test different affiliate products in your niche to see which sells better.
Step 23 - Day 23 Conversion Time
- Keep using different blogging platforms until you reach 200 visits to your money page a day.
- Therefore, today add one more platform.
- Work on creating good copy for your blogs.
Step 24 - Day 24 Are you getting traffic?
- Monitor your stats. If you are getting 200 visits to your money page per day, then move to conversion.
- If you are not gettign 200 visits to your money page, create another cluster to drive traffic to you money page, or decide to discontinue with that keyword.
- You need 200 visitors per day to your money page (probably your affiliate program).
