Google is going to launch the GDrive – online storage for it users. I really hope that this rumor is true. The GDrive could transform computing.

Google

Online storage presents endless opportunities for how users could use files and media. Massive online storage would allow user to store all of their data in one central place which would be accessible from any place with Internet access at any time.

All of your documents, photos, music, videos, files would be easily accessible. No longer would computer users have to worry about losing their precious memories if their hard disk drive crashes. No longer would users not have access to their content because they weren’t with their computer.

When will the GDrive be launched?

The Wall Street Journal has stated that Google might release this new service in a couple of months.

But will the GDrive be FREE?

According to the Wall Street Journal article, Google is planning to give a certain amount of storage for free. However, if you want additional storage you will have to pay. I hope that this isn’t Google’s business model.

Google is known for providing free storage (Gmail, Google Documents, Picasa) and free services (search, Google Documents, Google Videos). Google pays for these services through advertising. Certainly Google can figure out a way to recoup its storage costs with ads. After all, Google is the king of online advertising.

So come on Google. Give us the GDrive for free!!

Jay Deragon presents Business Uses of Social Technologies posted at A Relationship Economy….. With WHom & What, saying, “While their use is still largely limited to less-than-mission-critical purposes, online social networking services are becoming more popular for business purposes.

Reading and participating in Internet marketing forums is a great way to learn how to make money online.

As you might have read in my previous article blogging forums, participating in forums is a great way to get started making money online.

Internet marketing forums are the best means to get questions answered and become known within the internet marketing community. I don’t suggest that you participate in all of these forums, but instead pick one or two and become a valuable member.

The real power of forums is to become well known within the forums’ community. You want to establish yourself as a valued member of the community and an authority blogger.  However, with these forums you can also just lurk around and learn a lot about Internet marketing.

Here are my favorite Internet marketing forums:

1. The Warrior Forum:

Warrior Forum

The Warrior Forum is a very friendly forum for Internet marketing and learning how to make money online. Many of these forums are rough places. Not for the sensitive types. However, I have never experienced this on The Warrior Forum. The people here are very willing to help beginners learn how to make money online.

2. Digital Point Forums:

Digital Point Forums are very active Internet marketing forums. Digital Point is a hub for people making money (or hoping to make money) on the Internet. I encourage you to check out all of the forums at Digital Point. The amount of information on these forums is absolutely amazing.  This might be the most active Internet marketing forum.

3. The V7 Web Development Community:

The V7 Web Development Community focuses on Internet marketing, web design and blogging. V7 is a well established community with lots of traffic.

4. WickedFire Forums:

WickedFire Forums

WickedFire does not have as much traffic as the Internet marketing forums listed above, but I really like the community. But be aware, the community is tough, but fair.

5. Thirty Day Challenge Forums:

thirty day challenge

This forum is focused on Ed Dale’s Thirty Day Challenge. This is a great Internet marketing program for people who are new to Internet marketing. You can find out more about the Thirty Day Challenge by reading my 30 Day Challenge Action List.

6. IM4Newbies:

IM4Newbies Forum

This is a great forum for people who are new to Internet marketing. This community is great for people who are absolutely new to this business. Newbies are always welcome.

7. NetBusinessTalk.com:

net business talk

This forum goes a little beyond Internet marketing and making money online. Netbusinesstalk.com also provides forums for general business discussions.

8. High Rankings Search Engine Optimization Forum:

The High Rankings Search Engine Optimization Forum does not focus on Internet marketing, but it does cover a topic very important to Internet marketing, search engine optimization. This is an excellent forum for SEO advice.

9. The New Bloggers Message Board:

As you can tell by the title, this message board focuses on blogging. This is Garry Conn’s forum. While it is brand new, I know that it will be a great forum to make money blogging.  Garry Conn is an Internet marketer that focuses on using blogs to make money online.  In addition to checking out his forum, check out his great blog.

10. Clickbank Success Forum:

clickbank success forum

These forums are dedicated to achieving success with the affiliate program publisher Clickbank. If you want to make money online with affiliate programs this is a great forum.

If you know of other great Internet marketing forums, please tell us about them in the comments.

In tip number 32 of my article on how to increase RSS subcribers stated that you should submit your RSS feed to RSS directories. There is a new RSS directory that is promising to bring blog publishers and readers together – RSS Hugger.

rssHugger

I am excited about RSS Hugger because it promises to:

rssHugger aims to provide blog owners with a unique easy-to-use way to promote their blogs by sending them traffic, building backlinks for search engine optimization, as well as attracting new rss subscribers if the content is interesting to the reader.

I am interested in how much traffic I will get from rssHugger and how backlinks will be created.

Prior to this weekend, rssHugger cost $20 to submit your RSS feed to. Now you can get a free submission by writing a review of rssHugger. This is my review. However, I will write a more detailed review once I have been using it for a little longer.

Here is the rssHugger page for Newest on the Net. Check it out!!
